RemindFluxPlease read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using RemindFlux (the “App”), published by Influx Solutions (6774563 Canada Inc.).
1. Acceptance
By using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. What the App is: IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER
RemindFlux is a convenience tool for personal scheduling and informational notifications only.
THE APP IS NOT:
- an emergency service, alarm monitoring service, or public-safety system;
- a medical device or health-care service;
- a legal, financial, aviation, travel, or professional compliance system;
- a substitute for calendars, tickets, airline confirmations, or physical safety equipment.
You alone are responsible for verifying dates and times for flights, appointments, payments, medications, home maintenance, smoke/CO detectors, filters, and any other critical matter. Do not rely on RemindFlux as your only safeguard.
3. No liability for missed events or losses
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PUBLISHER AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND AFFILIATES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE IF YOU MISS A FLIGHT, APPOINTMENT, DEADLINE, PAYMENT, MEETING, OR ANY OTHER EVENT; IF A NOTIFICATION IS LATE, MISSED, SILENCED, OR NEVER SHOWN; OR IF PROPERTY DAMAGE, FIRE, WATER DAMAGE, INJURY, DEATH, OR OTHER LOSS OCCURS IN CONNECTION WITH HOME SAFETY ITEMS (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO SMOKE DETECTORS, CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS, FURNACE FILTERS, FRIDGE FILTERS, OR SIMILAR CHECKS), WHETHER OR NOT THE APP CREATED, SUGGESTED, OR FAILED TO DELIVER A REMINDER.
Optional home-safety reminders (if offered) are informational prompts only. They do not inspect, test, maintain, or certify any device or property.
4. Your responsibilities
- Verify every reminder’s date and time yourself.
- Keep device notifications, alarms, and battery settings enabled if you want timely alerts.
- Phone OS updates, power saving modes, Do Not Disturb, quiet hours, and similar settings may delay or block notifications.
- Maintain physical safety devices (smoke/CO alarms, filters, etc.) according to manufacturer instructions and local law, independent of this App.
5. No guarantee of delivery
We do not guarantee that every notification will appear, be audible, or fire at the exact second requested. Use the App as a helper only.
6. Reminders are not deleted by normal use
Completing, cancelling, or dismissing a reminder changes its status and keeps it in your list/history. This is intentional for accountability and auditability.
7. Free and Pro
- Free plan: shows ads; reminders can be active in up to 5 categories at a time and can be scheduled up to 3 months ahead.
- RemindFlux Pro: no ads, unlimited categories, and no scheduling-distance limit. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription: US$1.99 per month or US$9.99 per year (or the local-currency price shown in Google Play at checkout). Applicable sales taxes (such as GST/HST, VAT, or US state sales tax) are calculated and collected by Google Play based on your location and may be added at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy.
- If Pro ends, your existing reminders are kept, but Free plan limits and ads apply to new changes.
- We may change features or prices in the future; price changes follow Google Play’s notification rules. Purchases are subject to Google Play’s terms.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to reverse engineer it for harmful purposes, or use it to harass others.
9. Intellectual property
The App’s branding (including “RemindFlux”), design, and code are owned by the publisher or its licensors. See Copyright.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PUBLISHER IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM MISSED REMINDERS, DELAYED OR FAILED NOTIFICATIONS, RELIANCE ON THE APP, OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, IT IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR ZERO IF YOU PAID NOTHING).
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after updates may require accepting a new version in the App.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the publisher’s jurisdiction (including Ontario, Canada, if that is where the publisher is established), without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, limits apply to the fullest extent allowed.
