Frequently asked questions

No. There's no sign-up or password. Pro is linked to your Google Play account, so no separate sign-in is needed. Optional sign-in may be added later for backup across devices.

Not yet. The iPhone version is in progress. RemindFlux is currently available on Android through Google Play.

RemindFlux is English-only for now. More languages are planned for a future update.

Duration is how long before the main time you want an early alert, for example 2 days or 3 hours before. You can add more than one.

Yes. Set Repeat to Daily, Weekly, or Monthly. When you Complete a repeating reminder, that one moves to Completed and a new Active reminder is created for the next date. Cancel ends the series.

Yes. Use the OTHER category to add custom sub-categories for your needs.

Use this for bills you pay yourself, not ones on automatic payment, auto-pay, or pre-authorized debit. If your bank pays it automatically, you usually don't need a reminder here.

Not in the normal flow. Complete, Dismiss, or Cancel changes the status and keeps the record in your list and History for accountability, so you can see what was done or missed.

In the app, open Settings → Notification & Battery Setup. Battery optimization, Do Not Disturb, silent mode, or revoked permissions can block alerts.

No. Snooze only creates a temporary alert. Your stored date and time never change. You can set the snooze length to 5, 10, or 15 minutes in Settings.

Complete means you finished the task. Dismiss means you didn't do it on time, so the reminder becomes Overdue. It stays in your list and is logged in History.

If you haven't created reminders for items like smoke detector, furnace filter, fridge filter, or CO detector checks, RemindFlux may add one-time reminders about 90 days after you first use the app. When you Complete a check, the next one is scheduled for 90 days later.

Free shows a small banner ad, lets you keep reminders in up to 5 categories at a time, and schedules up to 3 months ahead. Pro (US$1.99/month or US$9.99/year) removes ads, unlocks unlimited categories, and lets you schedule any date, next year and beyond.

Open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or tap Manage subscription on the Pro screen in the app. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

Sign in to Google Play with the same account, open the Pro screen, and tap Restore purchases.

Prices are shown in your local currency in Google Play. Applicable sales taxes (such as GST/HST or VAT) are calculated by Google Play based on your location and may be added at checkout.

Reminders are stored on your device. They are never sent to us or to advertisers. Uninstalling the app removes local data from that phone.

No. It's for personal scheduling and notifications only, not medical, legal, or emergency monitoring. See our Terms of Use.

No. RemindFlux only sends informational reminders. Always maintain physical alarms and follow manufacturer instructions.

Always verify critical times yourself. RemindFlux is a helper only, not an airline or travel service.
